Alison’s work has always been inspired by the use of clean, simple, yet functional design.

First launched in the 1990’s, her work has sold across renowned retail outlets including The Conran Shop and Heals both in the UK and abroad. Her designs were selected to be exhibited at the British Embassy in Paris, to promote British Design.

‘ My work to date has primarily been for the interior market. The products I designed were less about applied surface pattern and more about choosing materials that could be manipulated in order to achieve a desired effect

I studied printed textiles and wanted my new work to include my love of shape and colour. To this end I chose to work on a new scarf collection

Choosing a scarf as a product is ideal as it combines both my previous understanding of materials with an opportunity to apply and relate surface pattern not only to the material but also how it will be worn’

Alison’s new scarf collection is available in both silk and wool. It is printed and manufactured entirely in the UK.
